A Real Who-Done-It And With A Twist Of Redemption.

"The Verdict" is a very good, Sherlock Holmes style, crime drama. It concerns an English prosecutor who convicts the wrong man in a murder case. The remainder of the movie is a complicated tail of crime busting redemption as that disgraced prosecutor seeks out the real murderer. There is a slight twist at the climax that will take you by surprise. Pay attention to the details because the plot is a bit complicated. The cast is excellent and the direction top-notch.
