The Wicker Man "directors cut"

The Wicker Man, a timeless British classic that still has a bit of a cult following even today. It blends the ancient worship of Sun, Sea, and Fields into a very menacing story set in an island off the Scottish coast. The Directors Cut is definitely the version to buy as it puts the scenes into proper order, well worth watching.Read full review...

Review

One of the greatest British films. It could not have been made anywhere else...including USA.

Awesome product , great value for money.

Superb, classic film from an age when films were made correctly. Modern films are, frankly rubbish and strewn with CGI content. Superbly crafted film with excellent acting performances. Christopher Lee is magnificent ( as always ) . Original and vastly superior to the Nicolas Cage assassination of the Wicker Man. Enough said!Read full review...

If you remember the main actors you will probably enjoy this film.

If you know the one about Ewar Woowar you will be more likely to enjoy this DVD. But don't expect the picture quality and pace of more modern films and your sound system will be wasted on the mono soundtrack.
The acting, story and music are however good and reminiscent of their time and the ending is still shocking. Strongly recommended for older film fans.
