This is, possibly, THE last classic western to have been made, to date. It is so much more than just a robbery and posse movie and deals with people who are living as societal changes are making their former lives unacceptable. It touches on the corruption that was going on between the US and the Mexican military after the Mexican War for independence. One of the great films ever made.

Peckilnpah's revolutionary masterpiece. It is one of the most copied cinema events of all time. John Woo, the great Chinese filmmaker, took much of his style and morphed into his allegorical violence ballets. This is also one of the finest written westerns ever. The Cast is a who's who of great actors, and the action sequences are still stunning in their beauty and complexity.
