An extractor that REALLY SUCKS!
You will be surprised at how light the box is, and the metal is very thin gauge.
This is great for installation single-handedly, but it will not tolerate any abuse or coertion.
I couldn't find any installation details for the flu, which is strange.
You will need these, as if you need to extract from the rear, you will be stuffed.
The plastic bracket that connects the fan to the flu ONLY ALLOWS FOR TOP FLU extraction!
(How much would it have cost to include an alternate bracket for the rear??)
Also, said bracket is for 120mm flue, not the standard 100mm, so unless you are lucky and extracting from the top to a larger flu, you will need a trip to the DIY store for a reducer.
As this bracket also includes a butterfly valve, you will need one of these too.
So expect to use a lot of duct tape, ingenuity and patience to connect the flu.
That said, once the door is on it does the job.
As long as you keep reminding yourself this is a budget extractor you will be happy.
If you want quality, buy NEFF or something, but expect to pay 3-times as much!

Quite difficult to install - the instruction book not very usefull
Took 2 of us 2 hours to figure out , we phoned a kitchen fitter we know for advice, he confirmed that they are difficult to fit. Quality Hood, Rubbish Instructions
This Cookology cooker hood is an excellent hood built with quality parts. The communication from the company is also excellent. The one thing that prevents me awarding 5* is the abysmal fitting instructions , which have obviously been translated from another language , this makes the instructions very difficult to follow. Over all a good unit and great that it comes with an extra carbon filter.
Fan is average nice but doesn’t sound rough.
Open and closing mechanism is a bit cranky.

Good for the price
I bought this to replace my existing extractor, it was reasonably easy to install for a competent diy’er and it certainly seems to work well. Good extraction, bright led light, a bit noisier than the old one and not as smooth an action when closing it but all in all it is extremely good value for money and I highly recommend it as a replacement or new installation.Read full review...
