Great change of lifestyle for me so I don't require extra medication

If you like me suddenly become very ill out of the blue this book will help you lead a fairly normal lifestyle without the "pills" that can harm you in the long term.
Helpful advice and some tasty recipes but being English and the book written by Americans it takes a bit of "translating" and some of the products mentioned are somewhat difficult to find in ordinary supermarkets. Alkaline water is expensive - your choice.
I'm not one for coconut water or milk and soya milk but I tried the rice pudding recipe with dried cherries and pistachios and it is hard to put your spoon down.
I'm also losing weight without trying and learning what products to avoid - looking at labels for vinegar content for example. It is possible to buy tinned tomatoes not preserved with vinegar; tomatoes are bad for you but yellow tomatoes aren't so bad. The recipes include hints like this a lot of fish recipes which I'm not so keen on but also a cake and pud section for those with sweet tooth.
I'm sure you will find meals you will enjoy as well as a lot of common sense very helpful information both lifestyle and medical. My voice is back and my throat no longer on fire after months of agony if this book can help me and I don't have to take PPI and other expensive medications this is the route for me.
