'The holy blood and the holy grail' Intriguing, especially its references to Fine art which add to the mystery

I always prefer illustrated books (non fiction) which this one is. I first read it in the early 1980s. As a genuine mystery, I remain sceptical because of the lack of hard evidence yet I feel there is something there which is borne out by the book 'The Templar's secret island.' which infers that any so called lost treasure is not monetary but is more likely to be 'lost knowledge.'
