The Lord of The Rings DVD

Loved the film when I saw it on the cinema, bought the DVD to replace the video which is now obsolete. Don't dislike anything about it. Bought this one especially because it was "new and sealed".

Music for Lord of the Rings

I cannot think of a single thing I do not like about these three discs. They are all evocative of the story and I find something new each time I listen to them. They are ethereal in character, which reflects the story. I particularly like Concerning Hobbits which I feel brings the hobbits to life. So full of fun, and cheeky beyond the telling.

Howard Shore created a masterpiece of work which supports the story and brings back memories of beautiful scenery and wonderful special effects. It would be difficult to better this work but I wait with bated breath for his next offering.Read full review...

Awesome film

one of the first ever films that i went to see at the cinema and what a film it is, in my opinion lord of the rings are the greatest films of all time and this is a fine one to start it off

eagerly waited for these 3 films was not dissapointed thay were great, see them at the cinerma the atmospher was great, all the staring rolls seem to suit the actors so well, the scerenry was fantastic and i did think that it stayed as close as was possible to the books, when you step into the realms of fantasy its easy to go over the top, theses films in my opion were bang on the money.Read full review...

This a film for anybody who has got taste. Its one of those films you can watch over and over again, and i have. The visual effects are amazing, its ahead of its time in this area. The battle scenes look very real but there isnt loads of gore, which Peter jackson is known for. This is a film for everyone, for those who have read the books (i warn you, you will after the film complain about what they left out and changed, but generally Peter did stick to the book) and those that havent. Guys will like the battle scenes and women will like orlando bloom (legolas) and viggo (aragorn)swaning around on the screen, they look pretty sexy in this film. This film deserves all the awards it was nominated for and won. Buy it, watch it, you wont be disappointed.Read full review...
