After suffering stomach issues for a couple of years I have scoured the Internet for information. I eventually found several books on acid and alkaline foods. I have been following the guidelines for several weeks and am beginning to notice a difference in my health. I no longer take any pills to sort out the high levels of stomach acid I produce but am trying to rectify it by eating a far greater range of alkaline foods. I hardly touch dairy and meat and am trying to eradicate as much sugar as possible from my diet. It does take a few weeks to settle into the routine and find recipes which are as tasty and satisfying as animal proteins but once you have a selection of the correct foods in stock it does get easier. I have less cravings, feel full the majority of time and find I only need smaller portions. Early days but positive start.Read full review
