Curry-making made easy.

This book teaches you the how-to of curry naking for all kinds of Indian cuisines based on the duo which all Mrs Katona’s curries contain. From fish to Brassicas and Chicken it has a recipe for everyone and nicely complements her YouTube channel. Gives a story along with a recipe and makes a meal personal. Quick and easy recipes abound, such as her Aloo Goni and basic Chicken Curry, which you can easily turn into a Jalfrezi or Dopiaza by adding green peppers or extra onions respectively. I just feel sorry for the people of Liverpool who have lost - if her book is anything to judge a powerful communicator of ideas. Buy this book as a companion to her YouTube channel. If you love variety and speedy meals (20 minutes 5 minutes prep if you ignore her admission to use bone in meat) She is better than Nigella because she doesn’t leave a trail of washing-up after her recipes. Just the food processor for chopping onion and the garlic/ginger crusher and sauté pan and lid. I eat a low-carb diet because I’m diabetic and her recipes are compatible with low-carb.Read full review

The book is excellent - not quite got my head round Nisha's thinking - but the recipes and stories are brilliant. Pity the book was a bit more soiled than I had expected.
