The flask that bites back

The product does what it says, brilliant. I have had tin soup warm for over 5 hours still hot for eating. The down side is the cap, It has a tendency to cross thread very easily and can be a real pig to open. It opens part way and then snaps back which has led to my thumb being nipped....painful. The lid could do with a slightly improved grip to enable the lid to be opened more easily. When filled with hot water to "prime" the flask it appears to want to hold on to the lid when opening as if the lid is being sucked back. Bought a couple of these food flasks for my elderly mother as I can deliver hot food to her. Great for chunky soups, stews and casseroles. This way I know she is getting hot food during the day as the flask keeps food piping hot for up to 7 hours though not tested it for this long - 5 hours has been the longest.
Spoon in lid is a good idea but found it a bit fiddly to unfold for an elderly person. Easy to wash out and no staining or smell as it is steel lined.
