It fits and works

As per the title, I found fitting was just as original. The housing has same dimensions, good casting and machining, decent bonding and appears to function exactly as it should. Even the seal stayed in place whilst fitting. I fitted it dry without RTV silicone sealer. It does not leak.

Given the labour involved, I did wonder if a cheap alternative was wise. It depends how long it lasts. At least for now, I don't need a bag over the radiator or have concerns of an overly cooled engine causing the EGR valve to block up.

Just remember that the original hose clips need Click R pliers as well as spring clip pliers, Torx bits for thermostat bolts and the intercooler-plenum pipe is fastened to block by a bolt which fits an E socket.Read full review...
