although this is aimed at the american market and some areas like prescribing and american specific process's can be ignored. the book is well written and contains heaps of information and tips. the blood sugar notation is in mg/dl but usually has mmol/l alongside, so no conversion needed. the author imparts his medical knowledge on the management of diabetes along with a patients viewpoint. This combination is what makes the whole book a joy to read and you will not put it down. some of the book seems to be pump biased in places, but a little concentration and it can be used for mdi use and allow one to apply the techniques to any scenario. to sum up this is one of the best reads on diabetes i have read and is very well written.Read full review
