I recently bought 'A Beautiful Lie' and it has to be one of the best cd's I have purchased for a long time, so decided to buy the first CD. This CD takes a little more time to get used to, and although it is still a good CD, it is not, in my opinion, as good as the second one. However, I do not regret getting it and am enjoying listening to it, but not so much as 'A Beautiful Lie' which is absolutely fantastic.Read full review...

First is fantastic!

This first album is 10/10! it's perfect really (: I really love the great rock and the amazing Jared's voice. The enhanced section is a good detail.

30 Seconds To Mars - Self Titled

Bought the CD to complete my 30STM collection (so far) and thought it was excellent. The bands' sound on this album seems somewhat heavier than on "A Beautiful Lie" and "This is War" - but it still kicks arse!

Recommended buy for any 30STM fan, especially for those that only have A Beautiful Lie. You get to listen to the band from their roots and see how much they have changed over the years.

Excellent Album

This CD is just packed with fabulous songs, I love them all except the one that sounds like the Chilli Peppers! The sorts of things I usually listen to are Fightstar, Maroon 5, Green Day, Guns n Roses, so if you like anything like that, you will love this!Read full review...

Brilliant album.

I had never heard of 30 seconds to mars until i was recomended it by a friend. the album is amazing, i have it on my computer, in my car, on my phone everywhere, and still listen to it all the time.r>

After purchasing the second album and really liking it I decided to get the first album. This album is more rock than the second with a mixture of songs, all of which are great. The only bit that I dislike is that in the album sleeve there is no imagery of the band.Read full review...

Bought CD for girlfriend who likes heavy rock. Heard the song "End of the beginning" on Youtube clip and thought she might like it.

Great band if a bit unusual. Well Worth seeing them live. Good album but I prefer their later albums.
