Worth Buying and Listening to

A friend involved in polio eradication suggested I read this book to help understand why it has been so impossible to complete the process in some countries and regions of the world. I bought the audio book so I could listen to it in my car.

I found myself completely drawn into the story. I couldn't stop listening and brought it into the house. The writing is fast-paced and interesting with a lot of suspense and emotion. The reader did a great job of breaking up the many voices and accents in the story so it never got boring or old. A real eye-opener about Pakistan and Afghanistan; set in current times and relevant to understanding todays conflicts in South Asia and the Muslim States.

I think altogether the audio version is about 12 hours long.
Be sure your CD player can handle MP3 audio.
