I bought 2012 The Masters and hated it. I have played golf games since the first Nintendo and these days developers put more flash and stuff in for the non-serious player.

I had played Tiger 08 on the Wii and enjoyed it...but no the Wii. I'm glad I bought this game before getting rid of Tiger 2012 because after playing this for a while, 2012 will be easier to deal with.

The 3 click swing is a little slower and easier to deal with on 08 vs. 2012 but I still have to put the setting on "easy" otherwise timing the shot is near impossible. I dont know if I'll ever be able to deal with any other setting because its just too fast and they give you no way to adjust it otherwise. So the only ways to make the rest of the game harder is to increase the course conditions, etc. which works because you can make the conditions pretty brutal.

2012, even on easy was too fast on the 3 click swing and 3 click is the most accurate way. The analog stick is for children. I'm hoping that after hundreds hours playing 08, 2012 will be more usable for me.

I quit gaming for 15 years in order to get productive in my life. Games can eat your time and make you fall back on life. I just bought an old XBox360 and this game was only like $5, so its a cheap way to get back in to it and I dont have experience on more modern systems and games, so it looks great to me.Read full review
