A Good album, but has its flaws, as several of rick's albums do. The flaw this time is that he employsyet another of those awful female disco/soul singers. He seemed to have apenchant for them during the 80s, obviously trying to appeal to the single buyers market, but it never worked. This sort of thing ruined the album "1984" for me and also does irreparable damage to what Rick himself describes as "Probably the best song I've ever written".
