This timer is excellent. We have three in use for household lamps and one in use on the lights in a large fish tank, all of which require different time settings to suit our requirements. Each one is programmed individually. They are very easy to use and very, very reliable. If you need to turn the lights or gadget off manually, just flick the switch to the off position. Disappointing replacement

We have been using a Smiths timer for many years without trouble, until recently, when it started to keep poor time.
The time guard product looks identical, but, as this is used in the bedroom, it runs very noisily and is clearly not of the same quality as the original.
I will now have to look for a suitable digital timer that will not keep us awake.Read full review
