Good Figma, suffers from QC issues.

It’s good, but I would not recommend getting it at a higher price than around $70 USD. The figure itself is very detailed, just excellent and what you would expect from a Figma. Articulation is miles beyond what any figure from the western market can offer, and most joints are firm and can hold their poses without being too stiff to move. The amount of accessories it has is a very welcome addition to the set.

However, the figure, at least the one I received, had some QC issues. First off, the little Glock 17 mags it came with were much too loose for the front chest rig she has and would fall out very easily. This could lead to you losing your mags, so I personally don’t sport her with any of the Glock mags in the front pouch. Secondly, the joints with the skirt pieces are just awful. On the default skirt, the upper socket would not stay connected to the upper torso if you move it. On the dynamic skirt, the upper socket locks into place nicely with the torso, however the legs instead would not stay on and would also easily fall off if moved. Very frustrating when trying to get her into an action pose.

The assembly of the M4A1 kit she comes with can also prove to be a challenge if you have poor eyesight or lack of experience with cutting out and assembling model kits. The pieces are TINY and you could easily lose those alongside the Glock mags.

So all in all, it’s a good Figma, but there’s a certain skill set AND tool set needed to fully enjoy this. You also have to take into account that this figure has some bad QC issues if you happen to get one with said defects.

If you have some cushion and don’t mind taking the risk, go for it, you might also need to put out a few more dollars for model kit assembly tools and materials, not to mention you could accidentally cut yourself while cutting out the pieces like I did. Otherwise, stay away from this Figma and buy something else. Plenty of Figmas out there that have less QC issues and don’t need any potentially dangerous assembly.

Great figure

Love the figure. Only con is you have to piece together the m4a1 so you need a plastic model tool kit and model glue to actually have a complete figure. It was fun making but cost me an extra $20 for the supplies. I guess it's not much of a problem if you like to build gundams, but as a warning for those who don't like plastic model kits. You'll need to actually cut the gun pieces from the frame, sand down the excess plastic, then glue the gun together.Read full review...
