A setup challenge
After reading some reviews about the difficulty getting the root ball thru the bottom of the device, I decided to wrap the root ball in plastic wrap so that I could compress it without disturbing the integrity of the ball and the roots. It was still a challenge, but finally a success.
The "watering" device was hard to clip onto the frame, but with the aid of pliers it was done.
All in all, I'm optimistic that we will finally have some great tomatoes that don't taste like the plastic ones from the store.Read full review

Seems like a second
I’ve bought this product before. This one had a tight opening for the plant making it difficult to center it safely. Killed the first one. Also has weird fold at the bottom which accumulates the water.Read full review

Easy and Convenient Way to Grow Tomatoes!
We had a Topsy Turvy Tomato Planter in the past, and since we had good success with it we thought we'd try it again. It works great, and is the easiest way to grow tomatoes. So glad we decided to try it again!Read full review

Love this product!
I have had Topsy Turveys before, so I know they work. They are great space savers - I have for several years hung two out from the edge of my deck which is on what would be the second story of my walkout basement house. Below them is a short partial wall holding up an area of plantings, so I can just walk atop the wall and pick tomatoes from the Topsy Turvys once they come in! The Topsy Turveys usually last me about 3-4 years each before needing to be replaced, and, since the tops are accessible from my deck ledge, I can easily lean over and water them. Love these! Just be sure when you water to do a little at a time - you want to keep the water from coming through the bottom and wetting the leaves if possible.Read full review
Topsy Turvy Upside Down Tomato Planter
This is a good product that is well made. The watering system on top is smart and makes it easy to keep the plants well watered.

Well made. Lots of fun planting "upside down" and harvesting from a confused planting.
Takes up minimal space. Have to hang it from above and can be difficult adding water.

Great way to grow cherry tomatoes.
I've just replaced a Topsy Turvy planter that I have been using for 8-10 years. It was about time for a new one They work great. I always used it for cherry tomatoes. They grew plentiful with fresh potting soil each year and some feeding throughout the season.Read full review
