Toshiba RD-XV47 DVD Recorder

Good all-round product

I bought this mainly to enable me to copy things stored on my Sky box to HDD or DVD as my previous Toshiba had died.
Pluses are:-
Greater capacity on the HDD
Easier to use controls.
Faster rewind on VHS

Just one niggle and that is the VHS tape tracking cannot be adjusted once dubbing has started which is a problem on some of the home videos I am trying to save.Read full review

Toshiba VCR/DVD Player/Recorder

I had been looking for a similar machine for quite sometime to record my old (but cherished) videos onto DVDs and this machine does exactly that, also it's a Toshiba, which complements my TV. Brilliant!

DVD Problems

I inserted a DVD for recording, recorded from VCR OK but now the DVD will not eject.
