Compact chippy
The tower 1 ltr deep fryer I bought for my mother in law in her eighties. She has a small kitchen and it takes up no space what so ever. She liked to make her own chips from scratch. She tells me it's ideal. Big clear numbers, light indicaters and makes ' the best chips '. The instructions let you know temp and how long to cook, spot on. High praise and can ensure you she would let me know if was not up to expectations. So great purchase and old ladies trauma averted.Read full review

not fit for purpose and mind your hand.
the basket is too small for the size of the area of the oil in the heater. it is almost like a basket has been sent from another model of fryer. additionally the basket doesn't have the spur for hanging on the rim of the fryer like every other model i have ever bought, so that when the chips are ready, upon lifting up the basket the oil drips (obviously) , you cannot keep the basket over the oil because the heat would burn your hand, so you move it away and the oil from the chips and the wire basket drips all over the worktop, necessitating a wipe up exercise - all while the chips are going cold. i bought the tower name at a higher price than i could have paid and feel VERY let down.Read full review

Great little fryer. To all the people who say the basket is too small…..don’t use the basket and buy a stainless steel slotted spoon to put your chips in, and take them out. Tip don’t put to much in all in one go, wait a few seconds between putting stuff in or it overflows.
