sturdy and protective
I have used these gloves before. They are very good in giving protection against thorns and irritant plants. The only thing is they are not lined and colour proof but they are minor points. Good buy.

Saves your hands from thorny weeds
I was very pleased with these gloves, they make my life much easier in the garden especially where the dreaded bramble grows you need not be afraid of the thorns because the leather glove
keeps the thorns from pricking your hands also being helpful with other jobs in the garden and home to save your hands from becoming sore. When these glove wear out I will certainly be
replacing them. A very good buy!Read full review...

Good for bramble removal
Have used these gloves many times, and always find they last well. I have a big garden and lots of brambles, but these gloves cope better. Although they don't last forever.

Comfortable but a bit lightweight.
They are comfortable to wear but a bit too lightweight to be called heavy duty. Some thorns got through. Also, If they get damp your hands turn yellow! (but this easily washes off)

Replacement - bargain price!
Replacement gloves for some much loved and used Town and Country gauntlets. Excellent - still had label on and much cheaper - bargain

A valuable resource!
These are by far the best gloves I've found for handling thorny or stinging plants in the garden, because of the full-leather construction and long cuff that keeps the wrists protected too. Where such hazards are not present, shorter cheaper gloves are preferable for comfort and durability. As others have commented, the stitching around the thumb is not very strong, so best to keep these T&C gauntlets for jobs that really need them.Read full review...

Yellow dye stained hands
Gloves are a great fit, however, unfortunately the yellow dye to the leather badly stained my hands after only a short time gardening

Great product
Good fit might be too tight for larger hands. Great when removing prickly weeds. Love them!
