War for Cybertron: The Adventure Continues
After completing the campaign on War for Cybertron for the Xbox360 I wanted to try out the wii version that takes the assets of war for cybertron and makes a brand new side story. The plot is written well and there are great set pieces, The harsh nature of their war retains its grit and horror. from the larger console version. all the voice actors from war for cybertron are here. Ironically Cybertron Adventures has a Cover system you can use any time in robot form by holding the "A" button.
you have infinite ammo which at first I questioned with the four selectable weapons (and one obviously overpowered) but as you encounter different enemies their utility becomes clearer. The sniper rifle is the stand by weapon, you'll use it the most. The blaster is good in a pinch when there are enemies in your face. The machine gun hits fleeing enemies for extra damage, or swarms of smaller enemies. The rocket launcher is really for attacking vehicles, like cars and Jets.
Sometimes you will need to protect teammates; And so the more effective weapons are the key to protecting them. Also your scored for weapon accuracy and deducted for misses at the end of the chapter.
With the numchuck in my right hand I was really impressed with how similar the control scheme felt to the basic controls scheme war for cybertron on the 360.
It was intuitive.
I have yet to try the co-op.
Even though you can't Transform anywhere. There is a variety of driving, Flying, and Shooting areas packed in every chapter. The vehicle controls are tight.
as a Avid Transformer Fan I really feel it had the production values of a quality rail shooter. So fans of obscure rail shooters or Transformer fans (kids and collectors) should look it up when the price is below $30. Treat it like a Interactive Transformers Television Show and I think you can forgive it for not being able to Transform anywhere.
Its a perfect Wii game for Transformer fans. But I will highly recommend you play the other platform war for cybertron franchise games before you pick this up as those have a lot more you can do overall, cybertron adventures is a unique experience that I think will have a larger degree of fans as the price drops and it becomes more economically accesible.Read full review...

this game has nice graphics and the overall game is very cool. I just wish they had more levels to go through. also once you defeat triptocon you just start over the same thing again. I like that you can be Autobot or Decepticon. The 2 player mode is weak though, you both control 1 bot.Read full review...
Transformers Cybertron Adventure for Wii
Fantastic Graphics and Annimation!. Two player mode could be better but still allows for dual shooting support. Your choice of faction (Autobot or Decepticon)makes it a nice mix in story line. Five year old child loves it in Easy mode : ). Needs more ability for control over transformation. Nice weapon choices. Overall a fun game.Read full review...

Wii games just as fun as the rest last about a month and then not played for four months
Transformers Cybertron Adventures
My son loves Transformers and I've been a fan since I was his age! This game won't disappoint if you buy it! You can be a Decepticon or Autobot and it does have a multi player function BUT its not "verses" its a cooperative 2 player (unless I'm doing something wrong).

Awesome game
Very fun game. My 6 year old is able to play, may be too easy though for the hardcore gamer. Two player mode is nice as long as second player is fine being only a weapon.
Shoot em up!!! Its fun!!!
Solve each stage. Blow up bad guys. Lots of eye candy on the screen just like the movie! If you want action in your game than this is the game for you!

More than meets the eye...
Doesn't follow any of the movies but still a fun game. Lack of some control is disappointing but oh well...still recomend this one!
