It is easy to put the liquid drops into the tape cassette, and it runs automatically when inserted. I hope that it lasts for a few more cleanings, as the plastic cassette does not feel too sturdy. Hopefully, it cleaned the heads in my VCR. This cleaner tape is affordable and available - it's hard to find these any more!Read full review

Got what I paid for
It's cheap to buy and cheaply made. The plastic cover for the compartment that holds the cleaning solution falls off easily. This product is the very definition of 'chincy.' I used it 3 times and it's now useless. If you are reading this review because you are considering buying a VCR head-cleaner, take my kindly advice and keep your options open.Read full review

A simple VCR cleaner that really works. They were once easy to find in local drug stores and supermarkets but as technology is outdated so are the other products and accessories that go with it. I still has a collection of video cassettes, I still have a TV with a built-in VCR unit. And one of the flaws of the VCR is the tracks get dirty over time and prevent you from watching the movie on the video cassette correctly. Sometimes good, sometimes not
Works well when it wants to. Cartridge appears to be cheaply made and some of the parts sometimes move out of position and the tape won't work properly. If you become aware of this and check it every time and reposition the parts properly, it works fine. We like the way it works when it is working properly. Video Head Cleaner got my VCR working again
My VCR would only show a static line covered picture. Ran this through per included directions and was able to get a clear picture again. This is a nice, all-inclusive cleaning kit for vcd players and recorders.
Clear directions are on the box and cleaning liquid is included.
The system can be used wet or dry. Takes 20 seconds or so to run cleaning tape
through unit. The only problem I encountered was ejecting the cleaner and this may
be due to its lightweight or the fact that my vcd is old and doesn't pack a punch.
A handy screwdriver helped pop the cleaner out in no time so it's not a big deal.

Just buy the name brand.
The spools that play the cleaning tape have nothing to keep them in place meaning the VCR head will not move the tape forward. I found out after purchasing one and tried it both of my VCR'S. They would try and play for a second or two and just ejected. I opened the casing and discovered how poorly the product had been made. It did not work once. I recommend just buying a name brand or staying away from the name Trisonic period.Read full review
