This is the best plastic wheel you can buy in this price range. It's not silent, but it doesn't make the horrid squeaky rattling of wheels of yesteryear; just a quite rustling sound. It looks good with its spiral sticker on the front. It's a good size for a Russian or Chinese dwarf hamster (but too small for a Syrian – they need the 28cm one). Read full review...

Finding a good quality wheel to my hamster was probably the most difficult challenge since she is living with me... most wheels make very silly noises after a few weeks of use, but she’s been using this wheel for more than a month now and it’s awesome, doesn’t make any noise at all! Big enough so her back doesn’t have to bend while running, the front plastic can be easily removed and it can be used either attached to the cage or attached to its own legs...

Gerbil wheel
Very quiet wheel, I have used it free standing and unlike other wheels it doesn’t knock into the glass of my gerbilarium making lots of noise and my gerbils don’t knock it over all
