I had read a few reviews and seen previews of this, and it piqued my curiosity. It is done a little like Blair Witch, but with a lot more dark humor. Basically, you have young folk following a man they think is killing bears only to find out he is actually a troll hunter, and his job is to go after rogue trolls. A great popcorn movie. It's all those hand-held camera first person horror movies...done RIGHT!

What a quirky, silly concept ... done so WELL! The whole Blair Witch and Colverfield type of horror movie have been done to death and the best aren't that good anyway. But Troll Hunter takes that style and for whatever reason, it works GREAT! As one other reviewer pointed out -- accurately I might add -- this is a popcorn movie for sure. While hearing the native language of the actors and reading the subtitles is fine for, perhaps, a second viewing the English language option is pretty good ... and if all you want to do is watch the movie (instead of reading subtitles and missing the lovely, gray, overcaste vistas) then select the English Dolby and English language options.

Fun Movie

I actually like the movie. I was not expecting to like it but I found it to be creative and enjoyable. Loved the Trolls and especially the reference to John Bauer's trolls.
