A good wee gadget
Now don't get over excited!!! This DOES work although it takes a few goes to get the gist of it and to sharpen really dull blades - Be patient to make sure the blade is sitting in the correct grid. Additional advice is to wear ear protection as it does make a lovely high-pitched noise when running. It's very compact and sits permanently near my work table. My advise is to sharpen the blades as they require - it's a long slow task when you let them pile up!
Great gadget and easy to use.Read full review

Cheaply made.
This product does not work as advertised. I use 60mm. blades. When I put the blade in the unit, the top lid wouldn't close correctly. The only way to get the motor to spin with a 60mm. blade in it was to leave the top lid unclosed, which doesn't properly sharpen it. In fact, the blade came out duller than before it went in. Don't waste your money!Read full review
Elec Rotary Blade Sharpener
This is a great little electric sharpener that works well. It has a robust motor that should last for years. It only takes 30 seconds to sharpen your "expensive to buy" rotary blades and put a new edge on them without grinding away the metal. I took this with me the last time to sewing club and sharpened several of my friends' blades in a matter of minutes and everybody was happy!Read full review

Wonderful gadget
This sharpener is great!! It makes it so easy to sharpen my rotary blades. It is amazing how sharp they get after a few seconds. I cut a lot of fabric for my Cottage Industry and to be able to sharpen my rotary blades so quickly and efficiently is important. I highly recommend this sharpener. I had a manual one that was a waste of money. This is so much better, very easy to use. Read full review

Great Idea. Too bad its plastic.
I'd this machine for about a month now and it works well. The construction if it is not very sturdy. The power plug lost contact in the first sharpening. I took the cheap socket out and wired direct. The latch to close the lid had plastic burrs where it was supposed to catch and required a bit of filing. Overall, the machine works okay but a bit more time for quality control wouldn't be wasted.Read full review

Don't let the price keep you from purchasing one!
I was a little scared about buying the sharpener, but I took the plunge and purchased one! I am glad I did. It will save you money and save you from having to buy blades so often. It is indeed sort of loud when you run it-but not so loud you can't stand it. It did a good job on my dull blades, and I recommend this sharpener.Read full review

Not worth the money
It doesn't sharpen very well. You have to crank the handle about 200 times to get a good sharp blade. They don't stay sharp. Less fuss to pay the money and buy new blades.

Not worth it
It hard to make big blades get sharp. I had to put the blades in 6 times to get them sharp. The blades still miss cutting in places. It did help sharpen them but took me over and hour to sharpen just 6 blades.
