Probably the best Trumpeter ship so far as regards accuracy overall, the after market boys will have a job trying to fill the gaps - tho there are a few: steam pipes & siren gantry for example. But I really enjoyed it.Read full review...

A excellent detailed model of HMS Exeter which fought in Battle Of River Plate late 1939.
Care needed removing Delicate parts from Spruce s . Instructions satisfactory,,but read carefully.
I feel decals for flags should be better.. Photo etched parts for rails difficult to apply. .l did,nt bother with them...also etched part for a deck crane came apart on been formed...Read full review...

A wonderful 1/350 Battle of River Plate Heavy Cruiser of the WW2 Royal Navy
This Kit depicts the Exeter at the Battle of River Plate in 1939 - and was released in 2018 - and is the ONLY kit in 1/350 Scale of HMS Exeter in INJECTED Plastic -
Note , there are four faults to the kit ,

( 1 ) There are 2 access hatches with ladders to the Upper Bridge - none on the kit ( easy fix )
( 2) There are incorrect rings on the funnels - Sand them off - and only keep two on each, the top one and the third one down. Studying photographs it's clear that those two were much more prominent and were where the stay cables were attached to. The rest were just rivet rows and were no more prominent horizontally than vertically .Those narrow platforms high on the forward funnels are missing from the kit, but the kit does include PE ladders to get up to them.
( 3 ) Kit has no Wooden Deck on B Turret Deck ( 2nd Turret at bow ( front of ship )
( 4 ) Interior of Ships Bridge , is hollow , whereas in real life , you could not see through it
Infini of Korea do a substantial Upgrade set with photo-etch , brass barrels and wooden decks
Finally , I recommend the supplied Brass Masts from Infini as they are far more accurate and above all strongly - overall 8/10 Kit Read full review...
