Excellent skimmer

I am using this on a tank too large for it (350 litres) yet it does the job amazingly, I just have to empty it more often! It is quiet, settled in very quickly and is totally easy to clean. Fantastic skimmer. I might just buy another one instead of upgrading to a bigger skimmer once I am fully stocked, worth every penny. It even looks good sitting at the back of the tank. Compact and well made but expensive

As with all Tunze products I have owned this compact skimmer shows its pedigree, but it is quality you pay for. It works well for a compact unit and compared with other skimmers I have owned extremely quiet. The reason it got three stars rather than five is the air tube regularly clogs with salt and the unit stops foaming. I turn it off for a couple of minutes every few days so the salt dissolves back into the water and it works fine again. Best skimmer I've had

Installed in my 110 litre reef tank and works like a dream with minimum fuss and started collecting brown skimmate on first day of use.

Magnetic mount is excellent and easy to use. Has surface skimmer built in which was a major selling point as I have no sump and keeps surface clean of any film and dirt particles. Started skimming right away and only adjustment I had to make was to tighten the clamp on the air suction tube to get a dryer foam.

I've had the 9002 prior to this and also larger skimmers from vortex and lifereef and this beats them all in terms of effectiveness and simplicity.
