A great product with many uses besides car bodies.
I have used it as wood filler because it dries so quickly that I can sand the surface and paint on an undercoat in the same day. Other fillers need one day to harden and a 2nd day to overpaint, and if that 2nd day has rain I'll need a 3rd day of dry weather. The only drawback is that if you open the tin several times and keep the filler for a year or so, the solvent will evaporate and the filler becomes too dry to form a smooth surface. The filler still works and you won't waste anything but it will take more sanding to get a smooth surface for painting.Read full review...

Just the job for those little filling jobs.
Very easy to mix the little red hardner with the smooth filler and then use, sets rock hard and is then ready to be rubbed down to match the original contours. Can be cut, sawn, drilled or painted.

I have been using this product for many more years than I care to remember. All I would say is that I have used a lot more than I would do for body repairs. It is so versatile and of course as you can control setting time you can work on it more or less right away. The standard of finish is often better than the piece you are working on. I really could not manage without this product being available to do so many different products.

I see Isopon as a multipurpose product. I use it to repair a wooden door frame in my house but most people use it to repair car bodywork.
We have used it for an outside repair to the wooded door frame of our conservatory. We probably should have used plastic wood or wood filler but I do not find that product tough enough to withstand sun, rain and freezing temperatures. Isopon is tough and once in place is hard to shift however it can be sanded and made to shape so it works well for me.Read full review...
