A good puzzle for learning mechanics

A good puzzle and works better than expected when completed. Some bits were a bit difficult and I set it down for a few breaks. But it was worth it. And it has some surprise features. For example, the front frame lifts and exposes the numbers for easy resetting to zero. The plunger for counting works smoothly. The gears can be easily seen.
