I changed orginal the same type antenna 23 cm by this one 36 cm in my Baofeng GT-3 Mark II. It is super, and increased distance of TR/RT.

VSWR at 440MHz unacceptable.

These antennae look fairly well constructed and are reasonably priced for their spec. Very flexible but so thin it is quite easy to poke your eye without seeing it approaching!
Tested both of the antennae at 440MHz (1W and 4W). The calculated VSWR was in excess of 3.0 at all times and, compared with other similar Radioddity and Nagoya antennae of the same length, significantly higher than desired or expected. It is not better than the original in the Baofeng uv5r.

The original antenna of my baofeng have the same performance and it is smaller. I don't recommend this antenna for a Baofeng uv5r.

Inf661

I up graded from the inf 641 and heard a noticeable difference,it still looks as if it thr standard antenna that came with my hand held , the main test was listening to my 2m local repeater . Which is about 16 miles away . With the inf641 it quit noisy swapped over to this inf661 and it was a lot clearer, I'm very happy with this product.Read full review

At last antenna that works

Soon as I swapped over this antenna on my handheld
, I cannot believe how the repeaters are being heard, over a greater distance than the stock antenna supplied with my handheld.

Ok replacement antenna.

No appreciable real-world difference over a stock antenna for a gt3 mk3. If you have broken an antenna this is an ok replacement but not worth buying just to replace stock one (sainsonic inf 641) for any kind of improvement. Wouldn't recommend it because of the claimed 2.15 dBi 'boost' is a bit suspect across both vhf and uhf frequencies.Read full review
