Above expectations
Great meter for the price. Seems robust. Comes with protective cover. Has more features than an amateur will ever need and could be a professional stand by. Takes a pp3 battery which should last for ages, not supplied. Only very minor criticism and the reason for four (and a half) stars is the pointy end of the leads are a wee bit flimsy. Could be cured with a drop of glue.Read full review

Load Of Rubbish
It must be the one i got, didn`t work from out the box, there was a loose wire strung across the display, took it to bits to see if i could fix it managed to fix the wire in the display, but the main problem was when you turn the switch it is not connecting to the tracks on the pc properley .Ever time you moved the switch you had to push down to get to connect.Actually got sick but it in the bin.Worth about £2Read full review

nice unit for price
good quality for the price, nice feel to product as it has a grippy touch to it. as a light user it should last longer than most meters I have had in the past. Shop around for this product as price varies greatlyRead full review

Basic test meter
Simple basic test meter, ideal for the DIY’er and home use, very light weight which means a simple circuit board, does not come supplied with a battery (9v) heck the battery weighs about the same as the meter, with rubber cover removed, very cheap and light weight leads set, I have 3 good quality meters including an AVO mk8, more a boat anchor but is great on the test bench, happy to recommend this meter for the simple things in life.Read full review

Nice basic multimeter
Good value well made basic meter for the occasional user. Accurate enough, with all the features most DIY'ers will need and without too many bells and whistles to complicate it. Easy enough to use, though if you haven't every used a multimeter you'll need to find an online tutorial to understand fully how to use it as it does not come with full user instruction.Read full review

Useful little tool
Cheap and cheerful. Does what I need it to do. Two sets of leads, one with clips would have been useful. Didn't come with a battery - maybe for postal reasons, but a note inside the packing to explain this would have been useful. Took me a while to realise why it wasn't working!!!Read full review

It works, sometimes
Okay for a hobbyist or for occasional use. For that price, it was never going to be top quality.
Selector switch can be temperamental. Continuity buzzer is feeble. You need to remember to switch it off when you've finished using it or you'll flatten the battery. Leads are a bit flimsy and need to be used with care to keep them safe and servicable.
I used it to test for mains voltage whilst working on a 13 amp socket and I admit, I was a bit nervous. It didn't inspire confidence.Read full review
