Very good phone holder

Easy to fit, easy to use, all at a great price. Has a very strong suction cup which sticks on your windscreen and also on your dashboard. Can twist the holder of you wish to have the phone horizontal or vertical. Grips your device firmly in its claws so there is no chance of it falling out. Only negative is that at high speed it does vibrate very slightly but that's only a small gripe. Overall a fantastic bit of kit.Read full review...

For the price, this vent car mount is ok, the grip isn't actually that great, it still flies off when turning a sharp corner or going around a roundabout. The grip isn't strong enough on the rubber and it will depend on your car vent too.Read full review...

Appears to be made from quality materials.

Grip is easy to use. Need to be aware of where to mount the phone though, as most phones have buttons on the side so it is essential not to grip on these.

This little thing is ace. Especially given its price. The only downside is that it can be hard to find a good place; definitely have your phone to hand when placing it on the dash. Also, the sliding mechanism for the phone clamp is really stiff, you'll need 2 hands. I guess this is a good thing, you don't want your phone falling out!Read full review...

Decent phone holder and good value for the price - Recommended!

The mechanism that grips the phone is good and easy to use, and the suction sticks fine to car's windscreen (been on for a few weeks without any issue). My only concern is that the screw which locks/unlocks the angle adjustment feels like it could strip if over-tightened. To avoid that, I have deliberately not over-tightened this screw, and as a result the holder sometimes changes the angle when driving over big bumps - its not a serious issue, but maybe worth noting.Read full review...

Hi all,

Now, as far as phone holders/tablet holders with suction mounts go, well.....I have a "few of these", to say the least, of different types.

With waterproof phones I now have different older ones in the shower, over the bath etc.

They are what I call less demanding. Mainly due to them not having to deal with huge temperateure shift.

I had a suction Holder in my Car for my NOTE 4, so it is a large phone which means it is both a bit heavier and obviously needs a larger holder capability but also with the length of the phone you find that you are putting extra demand on the holder when you are tapping and pushing on the phone for GPS or starting/answering hands-free calls. Or tapping to start the speech recognition etc.

I had one that had served me very well with great suction but it finally gave up during a VERY hot day recently when I had the Air Con at its lowest on full belt and the rapid temperature drop caused it to drop from the screen from shrinkage no doubt on the suction foot.

Suffice to say, it simply wouldn't stay put properly after that and got damaged falling down repeatedly.

I really did not expect EVER to find a short style mount like this, without an annoying snaky type mount that means the phone shakes while driving. Not only that, the old one had a suction mount at least an inch larger in diameter too so was going to be hard to compete with.

I liked the look of this one, and the way it fits together, rotates, locks simply in place on the swivel mount. (all things I had before), but this one was even more compact in terms of how far it protrudes from the screen.

Now the suction cup IS smaller BUT....... the design of the lever length and the suction that creates is pretty unbelievable.

Not only is the phone gripped well and padded behind and on the sodes so as not to scratch. It has rotating "feet" that can asist in holding the phone vertically, but I now have a smaller suction foot on this device with even better suction than the last one.

I remember testing my last one and i could pull it from a flat worktop in my kitchen with some effort but it was very secure.

I actually do not dare to pull this one any harder for fear of breaking it because the suction is so strong.

This is really secure for using in the car and is easier to take off and put back on with the suction lever too so I won#'t need to leave it in place permanently and risk the exposure to huge temperature shifts that would otherwise damage the suction rubber.

With every bit of this being adjustable in some form, including the little rotating feet to put under the vertical phone holding setup, you can assure access to all the ports and sockets etc on your phone.

You can position your phone in it without the feet very securely too if you need to differ the side grip locations for your volume or power buttons etc.

If you really want to, you can interchange the head of the holder with one for a tablet holder as these back fittings seem to be universal as my other 4 all fit this four post locking mechanism too.

I could not be happier, and more pleasantly surprised.

I have to be honest in not expecting this much for such a low price. Indeed i would happily have paid two or three times as much had I tried this in a store and known the suction and adjustability in advance being so good.

I will likely renew some of my older ones at home now, and I will be recommending these to all my friends who have vent holders because they could not find a good "stubby" style phone holder to fit to their screen in their car by suction.

Wherever you use these, you really can not go wrong with this holder.

I have tested it on Glass (car & mirror), Bathroom tiles, kitchen worktop, a double glazed window frame for a little movement triggered wildlife cam I have set up, and even on the varnished Oak of my bedside cabinet.

It holds fast and true on them all and feels very solid when you test it by using apps and dialling or messaging on your phone to see if it holds in place and keeps the phone still while you put pressure in different places. (obviously no texting in the car.....).

So simply put. This is well made, robust and yet lightweight, super strong on suction and almost infinitely adjustable.

What more could you ask for?

A low price? Yeo, it has that too ;-)

Anyone looking for a suction mount phone holder big enought to hold a PHABLET (it can actually hold a Samsung 7" tablet too, just about) and adjustable enough to hold even a small GPS device, then get this without hesitation.

It is so low priced and so good it is a no brainer in my opinion, and I have lots to compare it to.

Easy to use and sticks like wossname to a blanket

Bought this based on the picture/description, and the item was only slightly different from the picture. The suction cup is crazily sticking, i haven't needed to use the suction clamp yet, the thing just stays where it is put.

It has a large range of motion, truly 360 degrees and i can tuck this away neatly in the corner of the windscreen.

Useless product!!!

Complete waste of money- poorly designed- the device with the phone is fairly heavy (iPhone plus) so it tilts the air vents downwards and then the phone falls off.. and it pulled out the air vent! Tried using it in the bottom air vent- but the ball bit of the device still drops down so the phone tilts down as soon as you start driving and falls off! The bit that clips onto the air vent isn't long enough to hold the load of the phone- totally useless- have had to bin it! don't waste your money!!Read full review...
