I needed to bring my Sat nav closer in my new car which has a deep windscreen. This did the job. I thought there might be a lot of movement with the long stem but it has worked well on the few long trips I have done do far. Really disappointed. I ordered this as I didn't really want the type that sticks to the car windscreen.

Good but not so good.
Nice and simple to use, but beware of the shape of your dashboard, if it isn’t straight, you will have trouble keeping it on. The grips aren’t as sticky as they should be, but it holds really well if your dash is straight. Also not very good for cars with low seats as it obstructs your view. I ended up putting mine to the side and hoping it won’t jump offals my dash curves round!
