A must have
This little adapter is brilliant
It was suggested to me after the jack socket on my laptop went awry
I thought i was looking at an expensive repair, but this little gadget solved the problem in an instant, using the existing usb port to do the same thing
I bought an extra as a spare and its gone already to a grateful new home after another friend had a similar issue with their laptop

Inexpensive and effective music transfer aid
Plugged in and worked first time, used it for transferring music on vinyl into MacBook, using Audacity. Cheap and cheerful ! Doesn't look very sturdy but functionally fine.

If it worked it would be amazing value. Even using different microphones that operate fine when connected directly they don't when connected through this device. Audio doesn't pass through it.
