This tripod is great for beginners, but the part that holds the phone doesn't screw all the way to the base of the tripod, and it looks a little awkward. The instructions were confusing but I was able to manage putting the pieces together in a way that makes sense. I haven't used this for anything more advanced than taking pictures from a distance, meaning I haven't mounted the tripod around something like a tree branch or a shelf, but the mount holds as long as the tripod is steady. I also haven't used this on other devices like a photography camera or a Go Pro. The remote clicker has bluetooth functionality and connects to my V40 with no issues. Very cool little flex tripod. A friend of mine had one so I had the opportunity to review its features and benefits. Plus my friend was very excited about theirs so it just came down to locating a good deal. Love the remote fob as well. Great product for basic use. I also have a ZoomH5 Mic
