Not the same width as original one. Picks up ok, but not the same.
I only have solid floors, not sure how well it would 'roll' over carpet.

I purchased this brush for my James cleaner and was a bit worried about this because of the low price and it being unbranded but on using it, I can confirm that it is brilliant. It fits on the pole perfectly, it glides over the surfaces much easier than the original (I think because it's not as wide) and the suction is just as good.
