Only the charger port is low quality for me. The cover for the charger port keep falling off and when it rain water went on it. It would be nice if they put a good cover that would not easy to come off. But overall the quality and brightness is good. Very impressive.

This way you can place the flashlights around the house, since I find myself using these all the time. Very bright, they have a flashing feature, two kinds of it, if you think you might need that. The batteries may look like double A's but they're not, they're some larger kind that i dont even know the name of and the only ones I've seen are the rechargables.. Main problem is forgetting to charge the flashlight for a long time, and coming back a couple months later to find dead batteries. Great for the money!

Have seen some negative reviews on this, but, for $8 bucks, who can complain. It's 4 times brighter than my 4 D cell led Maglight, and fits in my britches pocket. I think I can even mount it on an AR with a 1 inch ring. As to getting each setting., just play with it a little bit and get used to it as with any other tool. 1st is all bright (with sizing of coverage) 2nd is a little dimmer, 3rd is yet dimmer, 4th is strobe flashing bright, 5th is SOS type flashing bright, then it goes back to full bright. All settings allow for beam size adjustment. 'nough said.
