Not suitable for my purposes

Although this tape seems to hold the rug, there is no option for then lifting and replacing the rug (for cleaning the floor underneath, for instance) because the tape loses all effectiveness after one lift. Therefore it's not suitable for the purpose I wanted it for.

Also, fitting is fiddly because you have to peel off the top yellow film, which is not easy to get a start on.Read full review

STICKS TO NEW CARPET.

This product didn't work as well as I expected. I was trying to stop an OLD rug slipping on a NEW carpet. Rhino rug gripper stuck well to NEW carpet but not to OLD rug. So I would recommend this for New carpet/rug but not for older things.Read full review

ultratape rug gripper

i write to express my enormous disappointment at ultratape rug gripper which i bought in good faith off ebay to stop a rug slipping on the main carpet. having tried a small strip it would neither stick to the back of the rug or adhere to the main carpet. As mentioned I bought it off ebay & if i had taken the time to read reviews on this product perhaps i wouldn't have bought it as the reviews conclude that it is worse than useless.

i have given my honest opinion that it shouldn't be bought as is simply doesnt work.
