Good Light, Lousy Battery Charger
Pros: Light was shipped and received very quickly and the light works fine and appears to be durable and well made.
Cons: The light does however use up the batteries very quickly, so you have to re-charge them often. The problem is, it uses a special type of rechargable battery and the first time I plugged in the cheap plastic battery charger that comes with it, it broke. So now I have it taped together and plug it in the wall outlet very carefully and hope it does not fall out and not charge the batteries.
If the charger were not so crappy, I would have give the light 4 stars.Read full review

just Ok
I purchased 4 flashlights, this Ultrafire being one of them. I was looking for a an inexpensive light to have around the house and a camp property in the woods, I purchase several because as you know they have a tendency to disappear. I tested all 4 of them when I got them and found that this particular light was the least favorite. Although it is bright, and serves my purpose, it is far from being 2000 lumens. I have a Olight that is 750Lumens and when compared to this light it is at least 2 times brighter then this light so, When I say far from, I mean "NOT EVEN CLOSE". and the color of the light is not white. It has a bluish tint to it. And I'm not 100% but 95% sure that it's not a Authentic UltraFire. But like I said, It serves my purpose.Read full review

Best usages
A flashlight is always not where it belongs or not in working order.. Of the many types I own this one is particularly easy to maintain and keep up with. I have decided that all of our vehicles are to have at least one in the Glove Box
simply as a safety just in case of a need in a breakdown or accident. Great particularly in the vehicles used

Like the fact that it will accept different types of power sources (a single battery or "caddy" with AAA cells). Great combination of flashlight, two types of batteries, and charger for the single battery. Flashlight is very well made and appears to be very sturdy. Power drainage
Not a good product. I went to use it a few weeks after it was fully charged and the battery was dead. I charged same and it worked. I thought it was a bad battery? It was not. I put a current meter in line and the flashlight has a constant micro current drain on it while the unit is turned off.
I have other brand LED lights and tested them. No current drain on other models.
What this means is you should let the charger on the unit when not in use. Poor design.
I have two of these and both are the same, constant current drain when turned off.

Good but can be improved...
This is the brightest light for your money!
A LiPo battery is not included but easy to find.
The only problem is the 3 mode switch.
You cannot choose the mode directly, but you always have to cycle through the modes: Off, Flashing bright, Dimmed, Full brightness. Etc...
This is very annoying!

durable it's not
I was very impressed with this light to begin with. This thing is BRIGHT and the beam can be widened or dialed down to a spot. It was the best little flashlight that i had ever purchased until the second battery change. The threads are so fine that when I went to replace the cap after inserting batteries it would no longer go on properly. The metal is thin and poorly made. After two months of use I had to just throw it in the garbage. Don't waste your money.Read full review

Overall this is a fair product. While it is lightweight, it doesn't seem well constructed. The zoom feature is limited and the thin aluminum dial doesn't seem sturdy. The clip attachment is quite tight, making it difficult to use easily. I bought a very similar 4000 lumen Zoomable CREE XML T6 LED 18650 Flashlight last year, for $2 more, and it is much more sturdy, and just as bright, if not more-so. If you need a low cost spare flashlight, this will serve that purpose. IMHORead full review

Affordable bright light.
The light was very inexpensive, very bright as it stated. I'm not of one to ever give bad reviews but I just wanna make sure other shoppers know what to expect as for me I would want to have known also. The light is perfect for a family that will only use the light if the power goes out but for me being a professional and using it everyday it is far from being durable I mean I didn't give it normal abuse like dropping it or anything but if I did it would have just fell apart very easy. I stripped the button cap after changing the batteries on the 3rd time and out of no where it stopped working and sometimes I would have to tap it on something to get it to work again and after a few days or so it just stopped working so i trashed it.Read full review
