Good Glove Box Light
This is a nice light if you're looking for one to keep in the glove box of your car for emergencies. The info indicates it can be run off either a 3.7v 18650 size Lithium-ion battery or 3 AAA batteries. It does not come with an adapter to use AAA size batteries. I'd recommend buying the 18650 rechargeable batteries and a charger. I found it to be a bright light and very useful but not nearly as bright as the photo indicates on the listing. Overall, it's a good light for the price.Read full review

The switch sucks
I have a "Redline" by NEBO and the switch has the exact same functions, Bright, Medium, Dim, Strobe, SOS.
When you turn off the Redline flashlight no matter what mode you are in when you turn it back on it defaults to the bright setting.
With this flashlight when you turn it off and back on it comes on in the next mode from what it was shut off in. So like if you shut it off in strobe, when you turn it on ti's in SOS mode and this is annoying as hell.
Every time I turn it off in order to use it like a flashlight I have to cycle it all the way to SOS mode so that when I turn it on it will be in the bright mode and usable.Read full review

Great Head Lamp but a little hard on the forehead
This headlamp is a terrific value. It puts out a brilliant powerful light. It has different levels of output plus a strobe feature. There is also a bright red lamp on the back making the wearer visible from behind. A great headlamp for hiking, walking the dog, etc. Keep one in your car for emergency situations. The only problem is some discomfort that increases over time from the plastic backing that rests upon the wearer's forehead. It would be helpful to wear a bandanna behind the light so as to not experience the discomfort. A slight design change with padding behind the lights would alleviate the problem.Read full review

Ultrafire 5000Lumen CREE T6 LED Rechargeable Flashlight
This flashlight is a HWA/WYS clone of the UltraFire AK005. This style body is plentiful on E Bay. It is a compact and serviceable flashlight that uses either a Lithium Ion 14500 battery (remove to recharge) or a regular AA alkaline battery. The flashlight is usually optimistically rated at 600 Lumens.
I was amazed to find this one advertised to contain a Cree XML LED light source and putting out 5000 lumens.. How did they do this? The answer simply is- They didn't!
A real Cree XML chip is about 5mm in size. The chip in this flashlight is about ½ of this size. At a supplied voltage of 3.7 volts (simulating a 14500 battery) the flashlight drew just under 1 amp of current. 3.7 watts of power cannot possibly yield 5000 lumens of light according to Cree's XML data charts! Compared to my other HWA/WYS flashlights, this one put out about 20% less light! As received, the flashlight also was missing the small golden triangular warning sticker as shown in advertising pictures for the flashlight.
If you are looking for a small and cheap LED flashlight, this one may still meet your needs but keep in mind:
1. The battery may be rechargeable but not the flashlight;
2. The advertised LED chip was missing
3. The real output is more than 10X LOWER than advertised..Read full review

good light, fantastic price at under $3.00
I've bought many flashlights in the under $10.00 range to compare. This is not the brightest, but for the price it is a good value. If you want a brighter light, you can find one in the $8-$10 range. If you want a reasonably bright light at a rock bottom price(under $3), then this is a good choice.Read full review

A pretty decent flashlight.
Pretty bright and easy to focus, has a lot of settings for different size light patterns. I say this is of medium to good quality, the charger is handy and does work well, it came with the charger and the re-chargeable battery. I think for the right price it's a good buy and it seems to be fairly well constructed. It does shine a pretty strong beam of light for a pretty good distance and you can focus it down to to tightest grouping for a brighter spot at a further distance or close up you can go wide angle and open it up to a pretty good size of focus and still have some good brightness left.
I think it's an okay buy, most people will be happy with it's performance.Read full review

NOT 1000 Lumens but still okay.
Expectations are low when spending $16 on a flashlight touted as 1000 Iumens. Compared to my Duracell 700 lumens light, this was 500 (600 at best). Materials are good, and it comes with a lithium ion battery, a charger, a bike handlebar mount and a cheap case. Works well, but I wouldn't expect this to survive a drop like a Surefire. Sliding head (beam focus) is silky smooth, but there's so little resistance while focusing that it is easy to slide the head and inadvertently change the focus of the beam. Don't spend more than $18 on this (that INCLUDES shipping). I recommend this light, with the caveat that you can buy a MUCH higher quality light at the $40-$50 price point.Read full review
Good value - some may have contact issues
When I first tried these flashlights only 2 of 5 worked. I figured out that the issue is the plus battery contact does not make good contact with the PCB. I added a blob of solder and all work now. The 18650 cells I was using were repurposed from a laptop battery so maybe that had something to do with it. With all working I would have to say that this is a good value. They are bright considering the price and the zoom lens works well. Having it apart I did notice that there are o-rings in two places but the lens may leak.Read full review
