Same flashlight, upgraded emitter
I bought this same flashlight five years ago with a different emitter, a SSC P7. It was a great light for it's time and it still works fine but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to upgrade to a more developed emitter at this price. The new one is much brighter than the old one and also has more settings options. My only suggestion would be to make the flash slower, maybe once per second to extend battery life. I plan to use it as a day time running light for my bicycle - it's bright enough to attract the attention of drivers away from their cell phone screens (I hope). Delivered to Chicago area in 14 days. This is among my brightest lights. I like that the zoom feature can be operated with one hand. What would make this light better is if there was a switch on the side instead of the tail so it could be operated with one hand. It's more of a home or vehicle light. Too long and large to carry in a pocket altho it is possible. I wish it had crenelations for breaking a car window. Mine doesn't despite the fact they are shown in the display photo. Fantastic for the money, get the big battery
This flashlight has really surprised me. It's very light weight, you can put in pocket and forget its there, un like a cell phone. I use it commerical. It's also very bright. I have another brand thats slightly brighter, but it's too heavy to carry around, hate things in my pocket. Like the rest of my flashlights, the switch is just now starting to give problems, it sticks sometimes and flashes. Other than that, I'm very satisfied and I've been through many flashlights. I would highly recommend getting a 18650 rechargeable battery with 9800mAh. They will last a long time with this flashlight. Get the charger to, they are both cheap on ebay. Throw away the triple A attachment and take off that clip, you don't need it. Mine is still going after at least 6 months. The switch self fixes after a few tries, other than that, it's #1. Got these prior to hurricane Matthew
The wife wanted a light and I needed a gun light, turns out they were used during hurricane Matthew. Lost power for 3 days and these lights put out a decent amount of light for roughly 3.5 hours off and on before light started to dim. Did not actually die but dimmed a bit. Managed to charge on a generator and it keep in chugging along. Generator was borrowed so had to charge every 1.5 days to keep up on lighting.
Would not throw at someone but will supply proper lighting. Especially if you are in a situation like I was.
It's not a 5k lumen light but I knew that pror to purchase. Would say it's a 2500 lumen light. But again it did the job and the light is suffice time wise.
Not a bad buy and as for the gun light that's a different story. I don't have a proper mount for the light on the AR platform. A zip tie is what is my mount. But I have I have it zoomed where you can see the little looking thing in the light and it clears my front yard and back yard with enought light to see if any boogey men are there.

A BRIGHT idea!
Had one of these earlier and others had inquired into getting one, so I bought these two as gifts.
As far as the pros go here they are. I like the size, and solid feel of these. The 18650, 5000mha battery is a long lasting battery, and not too long to full charge. The light is very intense, and the zoom is easy to operate. I use only the brightest setting for almost all that I use this light for, so the three settings are over-kill in design in my opinion. More on that in the con section to follow. The charger device is functional and seems moderatly sound, but I have had the smaller ones fail after a hundred charges or so. I hope these last longer. Overall, the light feels good in the hand, and is nice in it's function and design, up to a point. That being said leads me to state a few minor flaws I wish they would address in further designs.
1) The clip is clipped to the light and under even moderate stress will snap off of the light. It would be better if it were affixed with a small screw or two I believe.
2) The same clip can be used on two different places on this light, and while that is nice, neither position allows them to set low enough in a pocket for easy comfort.
3) That higher pocket position has resulted in this lamp being turned on while in my pocket by sitting. This caused by too much of a protrusion of the on/off switch! I am certain setting it another 1/8" or so below the rim of the battery retainer end cap would still allow for quick operation, and less chances of running the battery dead in you pocket. THAT will probably NOT happen as the three times this has been turned on while in the pocket has resulted in a VERY HOT LIGHT! Is that a danger? Possibly. Is it serious enough to NOT buy one for use? No, I don't think so.
4) The notches mentioned earlier that retain the pocket clip are only slightly wider than a couple of other similar notches on this light. If they would make them all the same width it would offer the user a few more options of carry depth. I think that would be a great benefit!
All that being said, this a very nice lamp to have with you when you need a good, strong light source! It could benefit from a few minor design over-hauls, but are they bad enough to stop me from buying them? NOT A CHANCE, they are just too nice to do without!
In conclusion, get one, or maybe 6, or 8 of them soon. I am sure you will like them, and you will have some GREAT gifts to give to friends or family.

UltraFire LED Flashlight.
I really liked this light. It has three modes, including a bright strobe that can be used to potentially disable an attacker. I mounted one on a shotgun I use for home defense and throw in the camper when we go into bear country. I like the zoom feature, which is also handy as an aiming aid for the shotgun. I really haven't put many hours on the light, so I can't testify as to battery life, but with LED technology today it is probably impressive. It's a great value for the price.Read full review
