Fascinating local history - underground.

A fascinating subject I knew nothing about though I lived in Salford and
later a couple of miles north of Manchester up to age 18. I'd recommend
it to all Mancunians and other city dwellers as most cities have secrets.Read full review...

Heartfelt human history.

Lots of information I never knew about Manchester (I grew up there). Have passed the book on to my sister.

You never know what is under your feet

Keith Warrender's book Underground Manchester is a fascinating well-researched account of historic and secret tunnels under the city. A great read at a great price.

amazing spaces you cant see in Manchester.

Living in and walking around manchester i didnt realise just how much dormant goings on lied below my feet, this book scratches the surface in photos and very informative text on the historical goings on that so easily could be still be up and running without most people realsing it. This is a well presented book and if real life mysteries float your boat ,then grab a copy and be amazed with the history of Underground Manchester.I wonder if they do tours???Read full review...
