well this is a great little unit and the price is write
it does pick up great the only thing is in the pre programed
chanels there are to meny other agencys comming through
that are not intertesting i only use police and fire
in the pre program mode there is also to much stattic

Cool Scanner if it works
the scanner looks cool smaller than i thought it was allways wanted one .but the antanna that it comes with will not pick up any thing here on the mountain who would of thunk!!

Nice scanner
I have several scanners. All different models and I like every one I own. I have Several in my Ham Shack, one in my workshop, one in the living room, and this one is mounted in my Pickup truck. (I enjoy the hobby of radio) It's nice and loud. The sound is very clear. I use a glass mounted antenna and it picks perfect signals, and a lot of em. It's really easy to program and If you are looking for a really nice scanner at a really good price, I think you should just buy it. That's my opinion.Read full review

It's a good scanner I use it in my vehicle. The only down fall is that the speaker isn't as loud and needs a little more base to it for the receiving end is high pitched but it picks up well just the receiving end needs to be more clear Read full review

A very compact scanner,I'm unable to use it here in Australia because it is pre programmed with USA/Canada frequency.
The advertising states it's a "digital" radio scanner,where in reality is an analogue unit.
Lesson learnt, don't buy scanners from the US.
It's a pity because I actually like the small unit.So much so,I ordered another similar being sure it's programmed for Australia.Read full review

Super Scanner!
There is a LOT here in a small package! Wide frequency range, enough so that they include a small vertical antenna and a longer wire loop. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is there is no option for directly entering a frequency you want to listen to. But you can scan a particular band (such as police or CB) right away. Also, the programming 'menu?' process is fairly intuitive, even for an old guy like me! Read full review

Disappointed
Very poor audio without an accessory speaker and a rather convoluted system for capturing specific channels. I'll probably gift it to one of my kids and let them play with it. Probably wont be buying this type of product online again . In the future will go to a dealer so I can see a demonstration and do an evaluation onsite, even if it costs a little more.
