Almost a complete replacement for old remote.
I was concerned that this remote may not suit my older lg tv. But it works well. Sadly the layout is not optimal. The easiest buttons to reach located in the centre have been designated for internet streaming in order no doubt to encourage purchasing from third parties. No use for me as my TV is not internet connected. Also some other features for my TV are not available. The biggest problem is the zoom button. It is easy to press accidentally when switching AV inputs. It alters the aspect ratio of the picture, but cannot access the correct setting, so there is no way to get back to normal. Fortunately this button still functions on the old remote, but it is very annoying- we now have to use three remotes. The new, the old, and the LG sound bar.

A little disappointing!

I have no doubt that this product would work for intended purposes.However,not being au fait with modern technology I bought it thinking it would work with my tv as stated, but I have a Sky box so I found that it was not compatible. This was my mistake in not confirming exactly what it would do.I therefore submit 5 star rating as I have no reason to doubt its function.

Got the mother in law a new LG tv and it’s remote control was far too complicated for her and she was on the phone constantly testing my saint like patience! "The TV wont work!". a pain in normal times. But during Covid-DISASTER! Solved by an excellent product. this instantly working replacement for the failled unit it replaced,reqired no programming just fitted the batteries and it worked.
Slightly smaller than the original so more handy.
