Good product apart from telescopic mechanism

Does the job, and did store away nicely but the telescopic mechanism that allows you to lengthen and shorten it broke after about two weeks. Has now locked in full length position so can still use it for the job it was designed for. Just a pity it doesn't store away in a cupboard nicely.

Either materials or design of mechanism needs some rethinking.
