Doesn't fit out of the box
Initially offered up to vehicle (which is the vehicle for which the part is advertised) and it was clear the part was never going to lock in place, and in having initially tried, also managed to break the brittle mirror position adjuster, massively increasing my financial pain. Placing the part side by side face down with the original, something didn't look quite right, it was clear that the clipping features were a few millimetres closer together on the part reviewed here, though it had clearly been cloned from the real part at some stage, this part will never fit the mirror head straight from the box. I trimmed the moulding with a craft knife and was able to make it securely fit as returning it wasn't going to be a short term option, and appreciate I did this at my own risk. I cannot imagine every parts retailer has test fit every part sold, and I didn't give them an opportunity to return and refund, but the part itself should be thrown in the bin and scrapped and the real manufacturer needs to rework their injection moulding tool.Read full review...
