Compact Little Beast
This thing is great. Lots of voicing for the $. Very easy to set up and control. Solid construction. I use it to get tube type tones from an old solid state Peavey Bandit. Still not as warm as tubes but does a nice job trying. Great practice rig.Read full review

Great price but lacking in adjustment
This product is great for what it is however it can be frustrating to adjust individual settings..it's not very powerful for the distortion channels and would definitely recommend you use the wha wha / volume pedal as that Is a great experience .. for what it cost me its a fun pedal I just wish it had more adjustability that was easier...overall not bad at all Read full review

Its a great pedal with some amazing tones and interesting effects. small drawbacks but that shouldn't matter. great for jamming or practice sessions.
The Vox Stomplab 2g packs in some amazing tones, very versatile and easy to use. Great as a stand alone pedal and you can stack it in ur pedal chain for more experimental ideas. Easily portable for venue gigs or practice sessions. Quick and easy setup of user presets.Read full review

Good for low price
Received item in 3 weeks from Japan to Canada. Product works as described, a little difficult at first , but, is quite easy after a day or 2 of use. Amp models and effects are quite good for a 100 dollar unit. I'm sure some more expensive ones are better, but, never used a multi effects pedal before and just wanted to see if I liked it. A looper would have been nice. Good for home practise, not sure if it's stage ready.Read full review

Wide Range of Quality Sounds at a Bargain Price
A year ago I purchased the little Vox Mini 3 G2 modeling amp and was so impressed with the range of sounds I decided to buy the Vox Stomplab IIG to add to my main rig.
I run a Strat thru an old Fender Blues Deluxe (USA made) on which I just installed the Fromel modification. It sounds awesome by itself with all of it's Fendery goodness, but now this Stomplab brings things to a whole new level.
Now I can recreate almost any sound I could possibly want, from a Marshall stack to a 5w tweed amp, and more. While it does require a bit of a learning curve to become proficient with the user interface, if you just take your time and read the user guide carefully it all comes together quickly.
The names and models of the amp/cabinet simulations as well as the effect pedals (with the exception of the Vox models) are a bit cryptic, but you figure it all out quickly and there is also a user community online that you can tap into as well, who have created their own detailed documentation. One downside is there is no tap tempo for the delays, but I have that on another pedal so no biggie.
The factory presets under the category knob, where there are a huge assortment of combinations to choose from, allow you to hit the ground running until you learn how to create and save your own setting via the twenty user preset locations. The expression pedal is small but feels very sturdy under your foot and easy to modulate. The entire unit feels sturdy and road worthy with its beefy metal case.
I have used it standalone in the normal amp input, in the effect loop's main amp in, and as the the first device on my pedalboard. They all sound equally good. I find the more I use it the more it grows on me, You also find yourself playing stuff you never did before with the palette of sounds available at your fingertips, it brings out new ideas.
Really don't see how you can go wrong with this unit for the price, even as a backup to your main amp where you could use it to plug directly into a PA in a pinch.
I am very happy with this acquisition overall. Read full review

Ok, if you’re on a budget, want to record and don’t have space at home.
The sound on my unit goes away sometimes, like 0.5 secs. I thought it was my cables but its not, I compared it my old digitech rp300a the vox sounds cleaner and quiet but its easier to navigate the digitech matrix parameters. With the vox you have to memorize the codes or bring the manual. The presets doesn’t sound good.Read full review

excellent muti effect for low price!
Great sound !
Works well. Most of the 100 presets are very good.
20 users presets easy to program .not so easy to find new personnal sounds but quite easy to program.
The expression pedal is very small tu use it correctly while playing. But usable in fixed position (volume control or blocked wha effect or gain control)could be better to use stomplab1g and a real wha beside.
The pedal can be assigned to one of these 3 features.
Only one thing not good for me, it s impossible to turn the first selector whith the foot. So it s impossible to pass from a style to another .
we only have 10 presets under control with the foot at a time.
I use it with a squier afinity tele and an fender priceton chorus amp.and it sound great! Even for metal. Could be a bit better with hum coils and a marshall for heavy metal but still great!Read full review

Lightweight with great features and the Vox sound.
It is exactly as described, and delivered promptly. I did the product review before I ordered, and it did not disappoint. Easy to get started and the sounds are great. Would recommend to anyone needing a portable practice amp or pre-amp for direct to the board uses.Read full review

Cool Item
I just tried this out last night...so far, so good!!! I’ll need a few more hours with it to know exactly how I like it but as of right now, it’s dynamite in a small package!
Man, Vox has got it going on!!! They’re my new favorite in regards to sound equipment. I own a Vox Pathfinder, AC15VR & AC30VR!!! Have never been happier!!! By the way, got an AMAZING deal on this from the seller. Highly recommend their store!!!Read full review
