Great Pedal

I have a guitar playing friend who had one of these and what I loved about it is the smooth tube sound it produces with the valve concept.

Don't know why they have 3 banks of 40 sounds that are all the same but once I got into editing the sounds I can see that there are plenty of sounds to experiment with and creating your own sounds is a pretty easy task.

Very user friendly. I edited and wrote 6 sounds for my acoustic guitar and 8 sounds for my electric in one short evening. And it's fun to edit all the effects to see what kind of crazy tones you can come up with next. The expression pedal is great for wah, volume and turning on effects for soloing.

Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want 20 separate stomp boxes in front of you. Great sound.

Box in a box

Great for practice. I would use stomp boxes for live performance, but for versatility the Tonelab works. I haven't tried programming the unit, but it's useable out of the box.

Does everything it's supposed to do.

The Tonelab arrived in great condition, everything works, I am only just beginning to explore all of the features/ effects/ tones. This is an awesome little board. The amp models are fantastic and the effects are equally great. So nice for an all-in-one pedal. The best part of this board is what separates the Tonelab LE from the entire pack, it is made to plug into the front of a guitar amp. The VR circuit makes it feel like a tube amp unlike most modelers that can be very soulless and sterile for the player.
